FAQs

Where is Catholic Guy Con III being held?

Lino’s dream to bring a Con to Cleveland is finally happening! Catholic Guy Con III’s main events will happen at the beautiful Agora Theatre (Friday and Saturday nights) and Masthead Brewery (Saturday afternoon).

What about hotels?

We have reserved a block of rooms (and secured a special rate of $149/night) at the Hampton Inn on 9th Street in Cleveland. Staying here means you will be a 5m walk to our lunch location (Masthead Brewery), a 12m walk from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and have plenty of options for food, drink, and coffee nearby. Your stay includes free WiFi and a complimentary hot breakfast each day.

Want to book at the Hampton Inn? Please use THIS LINK to get the special rate. The rate expires July 26th.

Please note that buses will depart from and return to the Hampton Inn ONLY. If you are staying at an alternative hotel it will be your responsibility to meet the buses at the Hampton Inn.

Can I help out? Play a game? Show off my talents?

Yes! Thanks for asking (even if we asked you first). We will need several volunteers to help wrangle nasty listeners. We’ll also be looking for contestants to play games for Saturday night’s show. And if you have a talent, let us know if you’d like to enter the Nasty Listener Talent Show. Sign up for any or all of this by clicking on the SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER link in the confirmation email you will receive after purchasing your ticket.

How should I plan to get around?

Buses will bring everyone to/from The Agora Theater. The Masthead Brewery is only a few minute walk away. And Mass will be either across the street from the hotel at the Cathedral or we will be busing everyone to a church near The Agora Theatre. If you aren’t staying at the Hampton Inn, your best bet will be to stay at another nearby hotel and walk to the Hampton Inn to meet the buses.

Is this event for all ages?

Unfortunately, no. You must be at least 18 years old to be a part of Catholic Guy Con III. Sorry, kids! (And, of course, you have to be at least 21 years old to have an alcoholic beverage at any of the venues).

What does my ticket price include?

Your ticket gets you buses to/from The Agora Theater for “One Night Only: A Complete Disregard For Quality”; Saturday lunch and social at Masthead Brewery. Buses to/from The Agora Theater for dinner and The Catholic Guy Show Live. Cash bars are available but drinks are not included in your ticket price.

How about after parties?

Although the official programs end at 10PM each night, there are plenty of bars and restaurants within a 10-12m walk of the Hampton Inn.

Are refunds allowed?

You know the rules.
